ACAI AND PASSIONFRUIT: LET'S MIX IT UP!

By Matty O'Callaghan 20 Mar 2020

Keen for a cold one with a twist?! Damn straight you are! These mix-at-home cocktails have been developed using our 3.5% Acai and Passionfruit Sour. Yep, you read that correctly! They’re dangerously drinkable, easy to prepare and dazzling enough to swoon even the hardest crafty…

Since moving out of our digs in Hindmarsh, we’ve been
missing some of our old neighbours, so we took a case of the good stuff down to
the crew at Imperial Measures Distillery for a yarn.

What started as a low key sesh with mates quickly turned into a mixology masterclass, with our fruit sour in the box seat. If it wasn’t for PL’s Customer Experience Manager Ed Smiles instinctively jotting them down, these recipes may never have seen the light of day…

So, what exactly are we looking at?

Acai and Passionfruit Sour is a tart, fruit infused wheat beer and we, along with the lads at IMD, reckon it forms a ripping base for cocktails. The three in this blog post are designed to share, so you’ll need a couple of glasses.

Go on! Have a crack! A trip to your local bottlo / supermarket will have you sorted, just don’t forget the Acai!

Fun fact: Acai and Passionfruit Sour has less than a gram of sugar per can, so it’s the ideal low-calorie mixer for more of your future creations. And while we won't be serving these tasty treats in the venue, we can't wait to hear how you fared at home.

To close, If you’re currently doing the honourable thing and self-isolating, more power to you, these beauties will help you do it in style.

Take care of each other,

Love,

PLB Crew.
