Cheers to everyone who made their way down to the Gilbert St hotel a couple of weekends ago for our First Birthday celebrations. It was an epic day with the beer garden pushing capacity all day until the rain forced everyone inside!
A big thank you to the Gilbert St Hotel owner Luke Saturno and his staff who’s huge effort kept an estimated 1500 punters beered up and well fed throughout the afternoon, JJ Fields and Snooks La Vei for the tunes, Barbu for their impromptu keg juggling and acrobatics, Crackle Pop for manning the merch stand and all of the fine beer drinking public who came out to offer their support. The huge turnout was humbling and it was fantastic to see all of our mates in one place enjoying our beers.
Thank you to the crew who trekked from other parts of the country to show their support and our friends and family who have been supporting Pirate Life since it was just a dream discussed over beers back in WA a few years ago. Without your support we wouldn’t be where we are right now and Sundays party was a testament to the fantastic crew we have around us. Thanks again and look forward to celebrating more good beer and good times with you all in the years to come.
